Have a look at the FAQ file that comes with tcptrace. There are some
instructions in there about how to drop down .ps files (by clicking
middle-mouse and holding SHIFT). These .ps files contain color
information.
I also unable to see the color plots when viewing on a compaq laptop
running RH6.2, but it works fine on Solaris.
To convert to other formats, try xv.
