    The modifications to xplot by the tcptrace team introduced an annoying
    bug, which makes the time ticks disappear under some conditions.

    Please find a fix attached. This patch applies to xplot _from
    tcptrace.org_ (and not to the original version, which is NOT buggy wrt
    this problem).

    (the gmtoff local variable was uninitialized in some cases).
