Hi folks,
Sorry if this seems a silly questions, but I have just been using tcptrace
for a couple of days and I don't know all the intricate functions of it
;-( My problem relates to the HTTP module shippd with trptrace. I captured
some http traffic (web traffic) with Ethreal but then when I came to
analyse it, some info was missing about the pictures inserted into the web
page and sometimes even the whole page...
I get something like this:
Time Answer started: <the epoch> (0.000)
Time Answer ACKed: <the epoch> (0.000)
My objective is to accurately measure the web page download time, inc.
pictures and javascript.
I looked in the mailing list and the closest link I could find is at
http://tcptrace.org/archive/0093.html. In that reply it has been suggested
to use the right snaplen....however, I tried some values(65B, 94B, 144B
and even 64KBytes) and in all cases I did not manage to capture the whole
page info.....any suggestation.
Thanks in advance
Karim
