Ok sorry I should have explained more .. the java applet on the
page www.dslreports.com/tweaks simply kicks off a file download,
which is snooped, and the results are passed to tcptrace..
So after the java applet has done its thing, the results button
will take you to the HTML results page. One must describe the
connection you have (doesnt really matter how, for people interested
in the tcptrace side of things), and then pressing 'recommend' gives
the "tweakable attributes" of your connection, mostly derived
from the server side tcptrace output.
Ok then clicking "more detail" below that gives the full tcptrace
output as you would see it from the command line.
What is coming very soon under full detail will be zoomable graphs,
as per Xplot, of the data download to you... generated by a perl/GD
module from the XPL files.
hope this helps.
