Hi,
I have used TCPTrace to analyse data gathered for FTP from Windows NT
servers down to Windows 98 clients.
In relation to the question on TCP version, I have an ancilliary question.
Without using a tool like "tbit", is there a way of telling exactly which
TCP version (and "flavour") the Win NT, Win 98 and RedHat Linux 7.0 boxes I
am testing use, from some system admin. type config menu? I have full rights
to all three machines, and am unable to probe back inside a series of
firewalls to get to them with a tool like "tbit", hence I need an
alternative method of deducing the TCP versions.
I hope someone can help...
Best regards,
Milosh
