    The RPMs in the distributions work pretty well but if you need to use
    the ethernet headers and will be collecting from the same node as your
    source or destination machine (not really a great idea but sometimes
    necessary), you'll want to get the latest libpcap and tcpdump from
    http://www.tcpdump.org and build and install them. I don't know the
    precise details but libpcaps prior to version 0.6 wasn't saving these
    addresses correctly.
